Congratulations to Dr. Miki Fujita, who won a Canadian Network of Scientific Platforms Scientist award for 2020!
This award recognizes the impact of Miki’s work as Manager of the UBC Bioimaging Facility (BIF) and the success of BIF as a scientific research platform. The UBC Bioimaging Facility is a campus-wide facility, housed in the Biological Sciences Building, that provides light/confocal and electron microscopy access, training and service. The BIF was used by a total of 201 researchers in Fiscal Year 2020. Users came from 108 research groups across 22 Departments in 8 Faculties.
